Dave Cox had a diversified and fulfilling career in public education. He began his career teaching special education in a junior high school, in a self-contained setting. Dave taught students with intellectual and behavioral disabilities. He also worked with students having severe disabilities at a special needs school. Dave has an extensive background in teaching and providing behavioral supports with the special needs population. He has retired from the education system and wanted to continue to work with the same population of people. Dave comes with a knowledge of resources, knowledge of the education system, and knowledge of how to best serve people with disabilities. Dave comes from a competitive swimming background, and swam at the university level. He continues to enjoy swimming and competes in triathlons. Dave has a great respect for parents, caregivers, and individuals with special needs.
